These aren’t “add-ons” that automatically belong in every IV.

NR and NAD
NAD+ is central to cellular metabolism and redox biology, and interest in NAD-related therapies has grown substantially in the fields of metabolic health, aging, neurological health, and performance.
NR (nicotinamide riboside) is a precursor that can contribute to NAD+ biosynthesis.
NAD and NAD-precursor therapies are an evolving area of research, and the evidence does not justify treating them as universal longevity or performance solutions.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA)

Phosphatidylcholine (PC)
Phosphatidylcholine is a major component of cellular membranes and plays an important role in membrane structure and cellular signaling.
Because cellular membranes are fundamental to nearly every cell in the body—including neurons—PC can be particularly interesting when we’re thinking about cellular health from a broader systems perspective.
Again, context matters.
We don’t use PC simply because it is available.
We use it when there is a reason to consider it.
Methylene Blue
Methylene blue is another example of an advanced compound that requires thoughtful clinical consideration.
It has pharmacological effects involving cellular redox processes and mitochondrial electron transport, which has generated interest in neurological and metabolic applications.
But this is not a compound that should be treated like a basic vitamin.
Drug interactions, dosing, contraindications, and patient-specific factors matter.
That is precisely why advanced IV therapy belongs in a medically supervised environment rather than being treated as a generic wellness product.
Ozone-Based Therapies
Ozone is another advanced therapy that has generated interest around oxidative signaling and redox biology.
Its use requires appropriate clinical protocols, equipment, and patient selection.

IV Therapy Isn't a Replacement for the Basics
This is important.
